"Full or used aerosols are usually collected in drums or on pallets. We come and collect these when they are full. "
Aerosol sprays are crushed until they are in the shape of a bank card using a cryogenic grinder in an inert environment to avoid any danger of an explosion. After that, a centrifuge separates the solid substances from the liquid ones. Liquids are treated using solvents. Then the solids are cooled to a temperature of -196 °C with liquid nitrogen (cryogenic processing). Because of the difference in properties at extremely low temperatures, it is possible to separate solid powders, ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals and plastics. Then the sub-streams are recycled and upgraded.
