B wood is treated wood. By this we mainly mean wood treated with paint, oil or other protective layers, demolition wood coming from frames, doors and cupboards, various panels such as chipboard, MDF or plywood, wooden floorboards, parquet and PVC-free laminated flooring.
B wood cannot be recycled. After being ground down and having metal parts removed, treated B wood is used as a fuel in biomass power plants to produce energy.
