Construction and demolition waste refers exclusively to inert and non-inert waste coming from demolition and construction sites. This comes in many shapes and sizes such as bricks, tiles, concrete (reinforced or otherwise), paving stones, soil and sand. Asbestos, corrugated iron and asphalt are not accepted.
Rubble that is collected is sorted and then ground down into various aggregates with a view to being used in construction work or on the roads, for example as a sub base when laying roads or foundations.
Choose a type of waste to see what is or is not allowed.
