Expanded polystyrene, also known as polystyrene foam, comes in many forms. This is the clean, white polystyrene used in boxes and packaging. Contaminated or coloured expanded polystyrene and meat and vegetable trays are not accepted.
After being collected in special bags, the expanded polystyrene is ground down into fine beads which will form new primary materials for coat hangers, videos, planters, insulation bricks, insulation screeds or stuffing material for cushions and pouffes.
