Green waste mainly covers branches, leaves, grass cuttings, pruning debris, flower and plant residue, ground twigs, foliage, straw, weeds and other organic residue. Coffee grounds, coffee filters, tea bags and even tobacco residue are also permitted in this waste stream.
Green waste is sent to our composting plant in Quévy to be shredded. It is then up-graded as a quality soil-enriching product.
