Hollow glass includes bottles, jars and pots, either white or coloured. Hollow glass must be taken to bottle banks were it must be sorted correctly in terms of colour, and corks, lids or tops must be removed. Medical glass and laboratory glass are not allowed.
White and coloured hollow glass can be collected separately in trucks with separate compartments. Given that recycled hollow glass has the same properties as new glass, it is ideal for making new bottles.
Choose a type of waste to see what is or is not allowed.
