Pre-treatment of waste

Your waste is often subjected to a pre-treatment to optimise the recycling process. Vanheede Environment Group has various, in-house industrial plants to sort or pre-treat large quantities of waste in different ways before converting it into primary materials or energy.

Did you know that every year we produce more than 485,434 tonnes
of new primary material? As an active participant in the circular economy, we use innovative green technologies to convert waste into high-quality primary material for the industrial sector. This enables us to offer alternatives to scarce raw materials.

Making energy out of waste? Out of a landfill? We do it. We produce more green electricity than we need. We feed the surplus into the electricity grid. Our annual energy production is enough to run 13,000 households.
